There is a particular kind of freedom in admitting that we don’t always feel like ourselves. Some mornings arrive with momentum. Others ask us to move a little slower, to sit with what we’re carrying before we try to carry anything else. We have learned that neither version makes us less worthy of tenderness, or less deserving of a room full of people who understand.
Being a “hot girl,” to us, has never been about an outfit, a mood board, or a version of confidence that performs well online. It is a quiet decision to take up space honestly. To be ambitious and exhausted. To be soft without apologizing for it. To find humor in the chaos and grace in the parts of ourselves we are still learning to hold.

That is why we wanted to open our doors—not just as a store, but as a gathering place. A space where conversation can wander, where healing doesn’t need to look productive, and where community becomes the reminder we often forget to give ourselves. We built this pop-up for the in-between moments: the stories shared over kombucha, the laughter that arrives unexpectedly, the comfort of being seen without explanation.

After a month in our temporary space, we now reflect on the "Hot Girl Therapy" pop-up that we hosted in Hong Kong alongside our friends Taboocha and LAU HEI. From the Fragile Hearts Community Library that featured a selection of "heartfully" curated books and recommended titles which have uplifted, inspired and helped donors through tough times (and with all proceeds donated to the Association Concerning Sexual Violence Against Women), to the roster of weekly workshops that we hosted alongside some of our favorite local artisans, craft makers, and self love gurus, we could not have asked for a better way to connect with both ourselves and the people around us.

Even though the pop-up has already wrapped up, we invite you to learn more about Hong Kong-based kombucha brewery, Taboocha, as well as Hong Kong-based designer, LAU HEI. To explore all of the vendors that were part of our curation of workshops, you can browse through all of the instructors HERE.
