Created for Lunar New Year, this artwork by Estelle Tcha of eee Studio explores themes of cyclicality, connection, and chosen family.
Three horses—one of the artist’s core motifs—circle in continuous motion, symbolizing the Year of the Fire Horse and the balance of yin and yang energy. Bound together by flowing strands of hair formed into the eee motif, the horses reference the red string theory—an invisible thread connecting destined souls across time.
Rendered in a deep red, the color of luck and renewal, the composition centers on the moon, a nod to Lunar New Year and the cycles of time, subtly echoing the earth itself. The circular movement reflects eee studio’s exploration of rhythm, return, and interconnectedness.
The number three represents creativity, communication, and abundance, celebrating unity, movement, and the unseen bonds that hold us together.
