LANG is turning one! As an homage to our community and chosen family, we have designed our 1-Year Anniversary Capsule around the concept of “Family Dinner.” Inspired by our own personal connection to dinners with loved ones and chosen family, we tapped LA-based graphic artist Jennet Liaw to design the artwork on the collection.
The bold graphic is inspired by the happy chaos of family dinners, complete with steamed fish, dumplings and of course, a teapot. The Chinese characters “一家人” (meaning “one family”) also emphasize our anniversary theme. The tote silhouette itself was thoughtfully designed by our team, with elements that we ourselves would want for a functional, everyday bag. The tote features an outer metal loop for hanging keychains, wide shoulder straps (comfort is key!), a reinforced bottom, and two inner pockets with a button enclosure.
